What it is
Sacred Sixes is our own dice strategy game, built to play free in a web browser on a phone or a computer. You roll two six-sided dice, collect what they give you and spend it to inscribe new faces, turning ordinary dice into sacred ones. It is still in development and has not launched.
The problem
A dice game lives or dies on being easy to read. Every face, card and choice has to make sense at a glance, on a small phone screen as well as a laptop.
Approach
One studio covering the whole thing: the game rules and balance testing, the web app, the name and logo, the key art, the dice, and an alternative "Night of Omens" theme. Play-tests decide what changes next.
Loop steps used: Shape, Build, Launch.
Role
Own product: game design, build, brand and art direction.
